Health Care and Reading
August 3, 2007 6:43 pm LiteracyAn interesting program called Reach Out and Read uses doctors and nurses to help children read. This program won the 2008 Social Capitalist Award and it was featured on NBC nightly news. I think it is a great idea to put books in childrens hands when they visit the doctors office.
